Hello magic mates I’m a bit stuck this week as I have a kid’s magic show with a musical feel to do, but shock horror I can’t think of any musical magic tricks to do.
The only one I can think of is Hell’s Bells well that’s what Henry called it but that looks a little small for the stage.
Please advise if there is any musical themed trick you can think of and if there is a video somewhere on the net a link would be most helpful too.
Kind regards Bret.

When i perfromed on a Kid's show, ive used card tricks only i printed instead of the standard pips, Disney stuff
f.e.:
Color Monte: i've changed into a Cinderella story With Cinderella, the witch and the spinning-weel
I'm sure a lot of effects can be transformed into kid's stuff
What is the musical-Theme does it has to do it with a special movie, or does its invole musicals, in the last case i suggest you get a "harry-potter" wand or a wand not made for magic. I use my hand-carfted wand with so its shows more than the standard black/white wand

Thanks for the reply ncc1704.
I love your card tips and will keep them in mind.
With the musical theme I was looking for a musical trick from what I can find there really isn’t one as far as kids go.
The best thing I found was a squeaky sponge ball routine shown to me by a city magic store employee when I went in there recently looking for musical magic.
Now is there a video of this trick in action on MVD?
PS: Love your wand choice for kids mine is a glitter wand.

Got to try the squeaky sponge ball yesterday with a crowed of 70 preschoolers. It went down a treat I took a slight spin on the effect by concealing the squeaker in my paw. I.e.: In the paw! This allowed me to go from the ball on to my finger. The kids all had to have a squeak of the finger before going home. First time I have had 1 effect entertain such a large crowed of kids for so long. It's a keeper and any clowns or such out there arm yourself with this effect. It's cheap and very, very effective.
